How to fry sardines in a pan (with corn flour or wheat flour)?
Ingredients:
Sardines
Flour (Made with regular wheat flour)
Salt
Black pepper
Half a lemon (optional)
Instructions:
Mix salt and black pepper into the flour according to your taste.
Coat the cleaned sardines in the flour mixture and place them in an oiled pan. Turn the heat to high.
Once the oil is hot, reduce the heat to medium and cook one side for 5 minutes.
If you are using a fish pan like the one in the picture, use the lid; if not, use tongs to flip the fish and cook the other side.
Once cooked, the sardines are ready to be served. Optionally, you can squeeze lemon on top before serving.
Additionally, serving sardines with greens like arugula, radish, or cress will make them more delicious.
Note: When serving the cooked fish, the bottom layer may release oil slowly. Therefore, it is recommended to line the serving dish with paper towels to absorb the excess oil. Depending on the type of fish, the bottom ones may become soft and break apart or be overly oily. This tip applies to all fried fish.
Enjoy your meal!
